Let Me Finish!

“I’ve got a better idea. I know exactly what – “
“Will you let me finish? I wasn’t done talking yet. Wait your turn.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. I thought you were done.”

Interruption is a common asshole tactic. Not only does it annoy the opponent, but it might also make them lose track of what they were saying, and come across as fumbling and uncertain when they try to continue with the argument.

This is one way to derail an argument that you suspect you can not counter.
