Q: I’m a 28-year-old who lives in India. People my age buy a house, get married, and have kids. Is this the ultimate goal in life?
No, marriage and kids are not the ultimate goal in life. They are just common goals. But why do they do it?
Some do it because
- this is what is expected of them,
- it’s normal and everybody else is doing it, so they assume there must be something to it,
- they actually want to live that way
So, the question isn’t really about what the “ultimate goal” of life is, but what do YOU want from your life? How do you want to spend your days, and who with?
