Quora: Life is simple, but not easy
Q: Is it true that “life is simple, but not easy”? Why or why not? What does that phrase mean to you?
A: Life, maintaining it and reproducing it is on the surface very simple.
The simplicity of life is that we all need air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, sleep to regenerate and sex to procreate.
But living life may not be that easy.
The air is free and readily available, but the rest can be tricky to get a hold of.
Water may be tainted or cost money. Food doesn’t always grown on trees, even if it does you may not be allowed to pluck it. And if you can’t feed yourself, chances are you’ll loose a bit of sleep over it too. And if you are thirsty, hungry and cranky from not sleeping, you’re not that attractive to potential mates either.
So, life is simple, but living it may not be all that easy.
