Some people treat games like reading. As a chance to escape into their own little world for a while.
One of my previous partners thought I was being rude for reading while he was in the room. After all, shouldn’t he get more attention and be more interesting than a book?
Well, he is no longer a part of my life, but the books are.
In the end, they made better company.
But anyway, even in the best of relationships, partners do need their own personal space. Some need more, others less. It doesn’t mean that they don’t love you or don’t value your company. Just that they need a little time for themselves.
